PM Move Images v1.1

Requirements:

• REXXUTIL.DLL from Object-Oriented REXX. In OS/2 WARP 3 you must also copy the DLL REXXCRT.DLL from Object-Oriented REXX into the OS/2 DLL directory, in OS/2 WARP Version 4 and eComStation this DLL already exists in the OS/2 DLL directory.
• PMView ( Tested with PMView version 3.x )

Step by step usage:

• Set file filter ( 9 )
• Select source path if required ( 2 ), else load file view ( Left most button, "Image out of folder" )
• Select destination path ( 3 ), else load folder view ( 4th button from the right, "Opening folder" )
• Start viewing files ( "Play" / "Pause" )
• Move files to folders ( Drag & Drop file(s) on folder or select file(s) and folder and click button, "Move images into folder" )

Info:

1. The menu let you control the application in 1 of 3 ways.
2. Left dropdown show the path to the folder with the files/images to sort.
3. Right dropdown show the path with the destination folders to sort into.
4. Toolbar with buttons for easy access to common functions.
5. Area with filenames loaded show in PMView window when selected.
6. Right drag to resize the ratio between left and right areas.
7. Folder view of destination path.
8. Interval in seconds to wait between files.
9. Filter out filenames.
10. Type text to search for within folder names
11. Load progress and delete ratio

Good to know:

• You can also control it with the keyboard¹ and with the toolbar buttons.
• Auto restores window position, folders loaded, folder view, interval and file filter.
• You get customized folder icons instead of the default folder image.
• Store BITMAP images with corresponding name as folder in a subfolder ICO in the destination path ( See example top right ).
• You must load the file view and the folder view before you can use the application.
• It's possible to type the path directly in the textfield ( 2 ) and ( 3 ).
• It's possible to set the icon size of the folder view so that it's easier to find the folder to place files/images in (See example top right for larger size ).
• It's possible to drag and drop files/images on a folder to move files there.
• The menu uption File handle commands related to files, while Folder handle the folder commands.
• Dropdown with graphical view or text view ( See example above ).
• To rename a folder, press the Alt key on the keyboard and click with the mouse on the name of the folder, type the new name and click elsewhere.
• Press Up or Down arrow to move to a folder selected by Best Match, Match or a Rename operation (Please give me code to automatically focus selected item).

 Depress "Num Lock" if set to use the numeric part of the keyboard
